Welcome to Work Tracker: Hours & Mandays ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how VP Utils ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our application across mobile, desktop, and web platforms. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Nature of the App

Work Tracker is a productivity application designed to help you track working hours and man-days on mobile (iOS, Android), desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux), and web platforms. By default, all your data is stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to the Pro plan and enable cloud sync, your work tracking data is securely encrypted using RSA-2048 with OAEP (Optimal Asymmetric Encryption Padding) — a military-grade encryption standard — and transmitted to our servers solely to enable synchronization across your devices. You remain in full control and can manage sync preferences in the app’s settings at any time.

What Third Parties May Collect

Our app uses Google AdMob for advertising, which may collect:

Local Data Storage

By default, all work tracking data you create within the App is stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync through the Pro subscription, your data is securely encrypted using RSA-2048 with OAEP encoding and transmitted to our servers for the sole purpose of synchronizing it across your devices (mobile, desktop, and web). We do not use your synced data for any other purpose, and you can disable sync at any time.

Subscription Usage Time Reporting

When you have an active paid subscription, the App periodically reports approximate, aggregated app usage time to our servers — for example, how many hours in total the app was used across your devices during the current subscription period. This data is coarse and bucketed (e.g., "5–60 minutes", "1–6 hours") and does not include the content of your work, specific session details, or precise timestamps.

This information is collected solely to enable us to provide accurate and fair responses when Apple or Google requests consumption data in connection with a refund evaluation (e.g., via Apple's App Store Server CONSUMPTION_REQUEST notification). It allows us to report truthfully whether the subscription was actively used, which helps us contest unwarranted refund claims and ensures equitable treatment for all subscribers. This data is not used for any other purpose and is automatically cleared at the start of each subscription period.

Platform Access by Subscription Tier

• Free: Mobile apps (iOS, Android) with local storage
• Premium: Adds desktop apps (Windows, macOS, Linux) and data export
• Pro: Adds web app access and RSA-2048 encrypted cloud sync & backup

4. Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

• Internet Access: Required for displaying advertisements through Google AdMob (Free tier), account features, and cloud sync (if enabled with Pro subscription)
• Network State: Used to check connectivity status for ad loading and data synchronization

Desktop and web versions of the app (available with Premium and Pro subscriptions) inherently have network access as they are designed to run in connected environments.

5. Third-Party Services
